Do you want to know more abo ut God? Want to meet other men who are on the same path ? Join us for community on Wednesday evenings at The Refuge Church. This casual, be yourself men ’s group doesn’t require membership, you don’t need to pre - register, and there are no qualifications to be part of the weekly group discussion. We study th e Word, share praises, prayers, and laughs. There’s chat about a variety of topics, sometimes about the big game or opening season, other times we talk about parenting and grandparenting, or how God showed up in our life this week. We learn from one another. It’s easy to participate — simply show up. Hint: Sometimes we serve food, too. One of our regular attenders said it best. “It’s not your typical men’s group. You never know what you are going to get each week, and that’s a good thing.”
Men’s Retreat (Annual)
The Refuge Church Men’s Retreat is an annual summer getaway. It’s when we pack our bags and Bibles, and head several hours away to refuel our souls, grow deeper in Christ, and fellowship with new and longtime friends. Some pack their fishing poles, others pack the cornhole boards, and some just bring a good novel that they’ve been wanting to read for months. Our long weekend getaway ends on a Sunday morning, after praise and worship, and it doesn’t matter if you sing off key. The date and location for the next retreat is announced in late spring.
