Refuge Youth

This group is designed for grades 6th-12th. During our weekly hangout, our goal is to provide an environment where students can connect with one another, build each other up, dig into God’s Word, and learn how they can experience abundant life in Jesus Christ. We do this through games, fun activities, worship, and intentional Bible study. We encourage the students to truly express themselves as they become aware of the gifts and talents God has given them. Our desire is for the students to grow into the men and women God has called them to be. We believe that when the students know their identity in Christ, then God will lead them to their purpose and calling. Also, we want to teach the students how to just have fun and to experience life. We aim to plan social events each month to continue to build relationships, and to engage them with the outside world. Finally, we share truth with students as they face life’s circumstances, knowing that nothing is impossible with God. We desire every student to understand three things:

1. You are loved and valued by God.
2. You are a new creation In Christ.
3. You have a purpose and are never alone.
